Voluntary Dental Plan for Federal Employees

Through special arrangement with Delta Dental of Massachusetts, anyone who is a Hanscom FCU member and is currently employed or retired from a Massachusetts duty station of the federal government is eligible to take advantage of the Premier Voluntary Enhanced Table Plan.

This voluntary coverage offers wide-ranging benefits and hassle-free service. Coverage is comprehensive, with 6,700 Massachusetts dentists in the Delta Dental network. Since participating dentists bill Delta Dental directly, there are no claim forms and no waiting for reimbursement. 

Who do I contact with questions about my Delta Dental Plan?

Delta Dental of Massachusetts Customer Service Representatives can answer any questions you may have. Please call 800-872-0500 Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM ET, Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM ET or e-mail them at cssteam@deltamass.com.

Individual or Family Plans

Members of your household, including spouses and those jointly responsible for basic living expenses are eligible for coverage. You must enroll by June 15  for coverage to begin on July 1. Premiums will be automatically deducted from your Hanscom FCU checking account on the 20th of each month for coverage beginning the 1st of the following month. (For example, July’s premium would be deducted from your account on June 20.)

  • You must be a member of Hanscom Federal Credit Union and have a checking account with us before you can enroll in this dental plan. If you don’t already have a checking account, stop by any branch or call us at 800-656-4328.
  • If you are not already a member, click here to join.
  • Complete the Delta Dental of Massachusetts enrollment form. Be sure to indicate the type of coverage you desire: individual, individual plus one, or family.
